The Price is Right
Well, update to my life: I got an iPhone. Oh, yes. It’s true.
Unbelievable, but true.
Let me also write a disclaimer that goes along with this: I would still NOT be in the possession of an iPhone or any smart phone at all if the phone was not FREE to me. I dislike spending money nor do I have enough of it laying around to splurge on things like a new phone. My old one worked just fine. : )
However, the phone was free indeed (this price is just right!) and I’m glad I do now [finally] have one…it’s pretty nifty.
(Sidenote--my favorite apps as of late: Instagram (follow me!), Bejeweled, Monster Fantasy Football, Fling, WhatsApp (add this and we can text while I’m overseas for free!). )
I also got a protection plan to go along with the phone. But I cancelled that days later... I feel like I’m careful enough with my things that I shouldn’t need this plan…right?....even if the phone is $500 value and that’s how much I’d have to pay to replace it….?
Hmm. I might need to rethink my logic on that…
If you’ve read that, you will understand that I can be clumsy sometimes!
Well, true to form, after five (FIVE/5/cinco/V/IIIII) days of having my phone—I dropped it!!!
On the concrete.
It bounced several times.
It actually reminded me of a bird’s eye view of PLINKO…
I couldn’t have been more frustrated with myself! There were several people standing by me when it happened, and you could almost hear the air being sucked in as a response to this poor girl’s dear phone plummet.
BUT! no worries.
My phone, after 5 days, did NOT break during this occurance!
We’ll give props to the case I bought for it. Though, I cannot imagine that this case is solid enough to withstand concrete PLINKO…...
Have a blessed day, all!

Anyway, I’m stickin’ with my current decision that I DON’T need that plan….however, do you remember my post from 6/10/10 titled “Achtung, Aleisha!” ?? (Sorry again, Andrea) : )
